English Teaching Program
Placement exams
Prior to entering the English Teaching Program, students
are required to take a placement exam, which evaluates
grammatical knowledge as well as writing, reading and
conversational skills. The first part of the exam is
listening, followed by grammar and writing. The final
part is an oral interview. Schedule two-and-a half-hours
for this test. Tests begin at 8:00 a.m., except tests on
Saturdays, which begin at 9:00 a.m.
Registration
for the Placement Exam
You may register
and reserve space for a Placement Exam at least a week in
advance, by presenting your Cédula de Identidad and
bringing in your payment. For current costs, please

Test
Results
Results will be
posted the following Wednesday after the test, at 12:00 p.m.
Placement results are valid for one cycle only.
